Productivity of the Minority Mental Health Research Program (MMHRP) is measured by numerous publications, abstracts, presentations at national and international meetings, and plenary sessions at scientific, patient advocacy and policy-makers meetings by faculty, residents and students in the MMHRP.

Data from ongoing studies is now being used to leverage new grant applications in depression in African-American Primary Care, treatment of comorbid depression with other disorders, pharmacogenetic basis of differential psychotropic drug response in African Americans, and the etiology of schizophrenia.
