Channel 2 obtained a copy of state Rep. Melvin Everson's letter. He asked Otis Story whether the hospital authority paid the university for faculty members and staff members who taught and practiced at this abortion mill. The letter asks the hospital how it allowed unlawful billing of Medicaid. As Channel 2 reported first, the new CEO closed the abortion clinic soon after taking the job.

Residents learned about the financial status of Fulton County and the need to save Grady Memorial Hospital, which is more than $70 million in debt. "Grady Memorial Hospital cares for people who can least afford to take care of themselves." Grady Memorial Hospital is not a poor hospital. Grady Memorial Hospital is a healthcare center that simply takes care of poor people. The hospital's CEO says 25 percent of the doctors in Georgia have been trained at Grady Memorial Hospital.
