Sexual Health Wins Rave Review The four-volume set of Sexual Health (Praeger Perspectives: Sex. Love and Psychology; 12/2006) has received a stellar review in the Nov. 8, 2007 issue of the New England Journal of Medicine. The volumes were edited by Assistant Project Director, Center of Excellence for Sexual Health (CESH) and Research Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Series II at Morehouse School of Medicine, National Center for Primary Care Mitchell S. Tepper, Ph.D., M.P.H. and Annette Fuglsang Owens. The 1762-page set includes an introduction by Principal Investigator of CESH Dr. David Satcher. The review can be found at N. EnglMed357; 19, www.nejm.org. Please see an excerpt from the review (below):
"...The editors interweave areas of basic and clinical science that are not often seen together - to the benefit of students and scholars alike. In doing so, they clarify the diverse contributions that have been made to the field of sexual health...I know that these volumes will certainly help me to educate medical students, residents, and physicians about sexual health. I believe this collection will be a valuable resource for clinicians, researchers, sexual health educators, and even persons outside the field who are simply interested in enhancing their own sexual health."
