The interview with Kisha Braithwaite, Ph.D., associate director, Community Voices and assistant professor, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, aired on "Atlanta's Best News" on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 7:40 a.m. The show, which broadcasts from 5:30 a.m. to 8 a.m., is hosted by Rick Blalock and Jean Ross.
A story regarding upcoming free health screenings by Morehouse Medical Associates (MMA) appears in the new issue of Atlanta Daily World. The story, in the Sept. 6-12, 2007 edition of the weekly publication, includes information on MMA's plans for Take a Loved One to the Doctor Day (Sept. 18). MMA held screenings for glucose, cholesterol and blood pressure at its two locations - Comprehensive Family Healthcare Center in East Point and 75 Piedmont in downtown Atlanta.

September 11, 2007 Rebecca Din-Dzietham, M.D., M.P.H., Ph.D., associate professor, Community Health and Preventive Medicine, is the lead author of a new study that finds that after decades of decline, blood pressure (HBP) levels in children and adolescents are increasing.
