The Department of Counseling Services
Everyone experiences a variety of pressures in the medical school setting. The problems and anxieties you face are probably normal and not insoluble. Sometimes students can handle problems on their own or by talking them out with friends, but many times additional help is needed. Seeking this help is strongly encouraged.
The Department of Counseling Services offers a variety of services designed to help students maximize their potential while here at MSM. All students are encouraged to talk over any issue of concern with a counseling center staff member.
Counseling sessions are confidential. Services are available free of charge to all matriculating students, their families and significant others.
