Medical Post Program
Program Information The Morehouse School of Medicine's Medical Post Explorers program was established in 1991 in a collaborative effort between MSM and the Boy Scouts of America to encourage minority high school students to pursue a career in the fields of medicine, allied health and/or biomedical science. Since its inception, thousands of metro area high school, homeschooled & faith based school students have participated in the program and the exposure has helped them to make wiser decisions relevant to a major. With the medical students from the school of medicine serving as positive role models, mentors and tutors for the program participants, students receive an extra boost to propel them forward in the their quest to become healthcare professionals.
