Benefits of the Public Health and Preventive Medicine Residency Program
Morehouse School of Medicine compensates residents directly. Our residents' salaries are competitive in the Southeastern and Midwestern United States, and are ranked within the 75th percentile in the "Council of Teaching Hospital Survey of Housestaff Stipends, Benefits and Funding." All residents receive the same rate for the same post-graduate level, and they shall receive an increase in salary as they progress to the next level. - The use of a laptop computer during the entire training period
- Paid memberships to specialty associations
- All tuition and fees for the Master of Public Health degree
