Accreditation

MSM is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097; 404-679-4501) to award the degrees Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Sciences, Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) and the Master of Science in Clinical Research (M.S.C.R.). The initial class of students in the Ph.D. program entered in July 1992. The first M.P.H. degree was conferred in May 1997 and the first two Ph.D. degrees were conferred in May 1998. The first M.S.C.R. degrees were conferred in 2003.
