Library Mission:  To support excellence in teaching, learning, research, and practice by the acquisition, development, management and delivery of information resources to users in the library, at the desktop, remote sites and at home to further the mission of the institution. 

As a full member of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, the library serves the health sciences information needs of MSM faculty, residents, staff and students as well as NNLM Member Libraries. 

The library houses open stacks of books, journals and an Audiovisual (AV) collection of videotapes, slides, recorded lectures and CD-ROMs.  The collection is highly specialized and emphasizes health sciences literature.

All faculty, staff, residents and students of Morehouse School of Medicine may borrow from and use the library collection.

Circulation
All materials borrowed from the library are charged out at the circulation desk.  Each borrower must have a valid MSM ID with a barcode.

Please note:  Food and drink are not allowed in the library.

Books                         Two (2) weeks
Audiovisuals                Three (3) days
Bound Journals            Three (3) days
Fines for books and journals will accrue at a rate of $.50 cents per day per item.
