Institution
Morehouse School of Medicine is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities; increasing the diversity of the health professional and scientific workforce; and addressing primary health care needs through programs in education, research, and service, with emphasis on people of color and the underserved urban and rural populations in Georgia and the nation.

Faculty
Our faculty represent a global community of compassionate leaders with diverse expertise in medicine, biomedical research, public health, health disparities and public policy. Committed to the development of students as life-long learners, many have been recognized nationally and internationally for their contributions.

MSM promotes a stimulating and scholarly environment that attracts talented individuals committed to addressing the health care needs of vulnerable populations.

Research Enterprise
The outcomes of our research activities have already resulted in the establishment of centers, institutes, and programs with our signature areas of research being cardio-metabolic diseases, cancer, HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases, and neurological disorders.

Alumni
More than 1,000 students have graduated from MSM since 1981, the majority of whom have chosen to honor the school's mission by serving in communities located in rural areas and inner cities.
