- Student enrollment for 2009-10 is 329.
- In 2009, some 3,900 students applied to the Doctor of Medicine program; fifty-six were admitted.
- MSM graduated its largest class in the School’s history with 85 students in 2009.
The Class of 2009 had several “firsts.” It was the first class to:
- achieve a 100 percent pass rate for first-time test takers on the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 1
- establish an endowed scholarship for future M.D. students
- have a member complete the M.D. and Ph.D. programs simultaneously
In keeping with MSM’s mission, in 2009, 64 percent of our Doctor of Medicine graduates chose residencies in primary care with the national average being 45 percent.
The MD class of 2013 achieved a 100% PASS RATE on Step 1 of the United States Medical Licensing Exam.
