Program Director Dr. Dolapo Babalola has received numerous awards in recognition of career accomplishments. They are focused coordinating a program that successfully introduces the student to comprehensive primary care in rural populations.
The medical student education program is designed to prepare culturally sensitive health care providers who are knowledgeable of the principles of family medicine and to provide experiences which will aid students in developing the knowledge base and clinical skills to diagnose and manage common acute and chronic problems seen routinely in family practice.
All of MSM’s medical student education program students must be prepared to engage in both guided and self-directed learning in order to meet the learning objectives for this clerkship. The program requires students to meet additional requirements for course completion.
