PGY-­1 Residents ­Categorical Program

The MSM Internal Medicine program is a part of the ERAS program. Below are the criteria of the program:

• Only applications submitted through ERAS prior to December 31 of the calendar year will be considered
• Successful completion of USMLE steps I and II, with an average of 80 on each step
• Dean's letter from the medical school where the applicant matriculated
• Three recent letters (dated within one year) of recommendation
• All applicants must complete and pass the step II clinical skills examination before the start of residency
• Non-LCME certified graduates must have ECMG certified and English certifications

The Morehouse School of Medicine Internal Medicine Residency Program accepts the following:

• Citizenship eligibility status
• U.S. citizen, permanent resident
• Ability to obtain J-1 exchange visitor status
