Research Interests
Dr. Guo’s fields of research involve cluster of scientific questions related to cancer: tumor maker identification and development, mammalian cell gene regulation, transgenic mouse and functional genomics (microarray/real-time PCR). Currently, Dr. Guo is intensively researching the signaling crosstalk between adipokines and angiogenic factors (i.e, Notch, VEGF/VEGFR2). He is working in the molecular mechanisms of leptin signaling and its crosstalk with other oncogenic signaling pathways in breast carcinogenesis and cancer stem cell regulation.
