    Didactics are held one half day per week in the Residency suite.

    Grand Rounds

    All Community Pediatric Residency Program Grand Rounds are held on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m.

    Grand Case Report

    Residents, while on the inpatient service at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta @ Hughes Spalding, will present at a Grand Case Report the fourth Thursday of the month.

    Evidence Based Medicine

    We have a curriculum with six - eight didactic sessions per year. In addition, each resident is required to be certified in human subject investigation.

    Journal Club

    Each PGY 3 will lead one journal club per year, facilitated by a faculty member.

    Board Preparation

    Each PGY 3 resident has the option of participating in a block long Board Review Rotation as an elective. In addition, Saturday board review sessions are conducted through the academic year. The program also provides $500 for board preparation.
