• Attendance of all Grand Rounds and Didactic Sessions
• Participation in Annual In-Training Examination
• Participation in two annual retreats
• Initial complication and bi-annual update of your Individual Learning Plan
• 50 hours of community service• Bi-annual meetings with advisor and Program Director• Participation in educational study plan (Nelson’s Reading Plan & Content Specifications, as applicable)
• Participation in program recruitment
• Participation in monthly Evaluations (Self, Program, Faculty) and program quality improvement
PGY-1 REQUIREMENTS
I. Research
- Complete CITI online training by December of their intern year
- Choose partner and project by the end of the year
II. Inpatient SR
- Have a “direct observation” form completed on their behalf (inpatient)
- Compete SR inpatient overnight form during Night Float week
- Grand report – 4th Thursday of each month
III. Inpatient HS
- Ensure that nursing and patient evaluations are submitted
- Complete online inpatient management scenarios during call nights
IV. ER - Must complete 5 ER follow-up forms per rotation and submit
PGY-2 REQUIREMENTS
I. Research
- Complete IRB for your project
- Start /Complete data collection
II. Inpatient SR
- Compete SR “Self –Reflective “ at end of Night Float week
III. PICU EGEL
- Complete at least 50% of online modules with a post score no less than 85%
IV. ER - Must complete five ER follow-up forms per rotation and submit
V. Complete a case write up and submission to either a journal or national conference (or GR in conjunction with an Attending)
VI. Pass USMLE Step 3
PGY-3 REQUIREMENTS
I. Research
- Complete and present research project
II. Quality Assurance (QA) Project
- Complete QA project with option of presenting
III. Inpatient HS
- Ensure that nursing and patient evaluations are submitted for senior and intern
- Complete “Self-Reflective” Leadership form on weekly basis
- Complete inpatient management scenarios during call nights
- Grand report – 4th Thursday of each month
IV. Journal Club presentation
V. ER - Must complete 5 ER follow/up forms per rotation and submit
