MSM’s Cork Institute on Alcohol and Other Addictive Disorders is focused on the prevention and treatment of substance abuse and co-occurring disorders and seeks to address disparities in the occurrence of these disorders and their treatment.

The Minority Mental Health Research Program (MMHRP) conducts investigator-initiated research targeted at mental health issues that affect African Americans, conducts clinical trials and provides intervention strategies.
