Dr. Brown is an Assistant Professor of General Surgery & Vascular Surgery. He graduated from Hampton University in 1988 and Howard University School of Medicine in 1995 with his MD. He completed his General Surgery Residency at Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and his Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Brown studied Medical Arterial Intelligence at Stanford from 1988 to 1989 and he was in private practice in Virginia from 2002 until 2005. Afterwards, he then moved to Georgia in 2005, where he remains in private practice. Dr. Brown also serves as Major in the National Guard with four tours throughout Iraq and Afghanistan as a combat trauma surgeon. Dr. Brown joined MSM Surgery Department in 2010 as a part time faculty member.
