Dr. Clark is an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Chief of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He earned his B.A. degree in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania and his MD from Penn State College of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery training at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio and his Colon and Rectal surgery training at Christus Santa Rosa Colon and Rectal Surgery Program in San Antonio.
Dr. Clark joined our faculty from Texas A&M Health Science Center/Scott and White Memorial Hospital where he served as Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Surgical Oncology. He has published and has clinical interest in Minimally Invasive Colorectal Surgery including Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery. He also has interests in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, benign and malignant colon and rectal disorders, Polyps/Polyposis, Anal cancer, pelvic floor disorders, and benign anal disorders.
Dr. Clark also serves as a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery and a Diplomat of the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery.
