The Purchasing Office is responsible for managing the procurement processes that includes orders, contracts and legal agreements associated with the acquisition of goods and services that support MSM's educational and research community. The overall goal of the department is to obtain all goods and services necessary for the students, faculty and staff in the most cost effective and efficient manner. The Office also seeks to encourage open competition among vendors through fair negotiation, competitive bidding and contract buying. As well as ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
