    Morehouse Medical Associates introduces Adult Psychiatric Referral Services
    and welcomes Farzana Bharmal, M.D. and Deirdre Evans-Cosby, M.D.

    Morehouse Medical Associates (MMA) will offer Psychiatric Referral Services in the downtown multi-specialty location (75 Piedmont Avenue, Suite 700, Atlanta, GA 30303) beginning January 2012.  Farzana Bharmal, M.D. and Deirdre Evans-Cosby, M.D. are board certified psychiatric physicians, and will provide primary and subspecialty psychiatric care for patients.

    Dr. Bharmal is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and is Board Certified in Addiction Psychiatry. She is an attending physician at Grady Health System. Dr. Bharmal maintains a strong interest in the cultural aspects of substance use disorders and health disparities specific to psychiatric disorders.

    Dr. Evans-Cosby is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She serves as an attending physician at Grady Health System in the outpatient community mental health clinic, and is also the Associate Residency Training Director and Co-Course Director for the Community Psychiatry Fourth Year Elective.

    This MMA private group practice will offer diagnostic and treatment referral services for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, dual diagnosis, psychotic disorders and psychopharmacology issues. Faculty clinical expertise and consultation services are available to referring physicians and patients.
