Roger L. Morales, MD, '96, is a pediatrician and owner of Excellent Pediatrics in Monroe, GA.

Born in New York, NY and raised in Westbury, a Long Island suburb of New York City, Morales graduated from Westbury Senior High School.  He began college at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, and then graduated from Morehouse College in 1992.   Subsequently, Morales attended Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) and received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1996.

His specialty training in pediatrics was completed at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City, which is regarded as one of the top 10 pediatric specialty centers in the country.  Morales worked as an attending pediatrician while teaching medical students and residents at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York from 1999 until June 2005.  In August of that same year, Excellent Pediatrics opened for business in Monroe, Georgia.

Morales is board certified, and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Recently, Morales was elected to serve for the next two-years as the President of the MSM National Alumni Association from 2010-2012.  He is an avid skier during the winter, and swims and snorkels during the summer.  His next endeavor will be SCUBA diving.
