International Health Council | Haiti Mission Trip
The Morehouse School of Medicine International Health Council, in partnership with Project Medishare, brings needed health care to Haiti. The mission enables our students in the Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health programs to further develop their hands-on-experiences and community service, while serving in a country that desperately needs medial attention. Under the guidance of MSM physicians and other health care professionals, the students assist hundreds of patients a day, many of whom have never been treated by a physician.
2011 Haiti Trip
In partnership with Project Medishare, the 2011 trip to Haiti took place July 17 – 23, 2011, where 21 MSM students and faculty delivered needed health care to more than 100 people. Generous financial support was donated by Northrop-Grumman Corporation and the Azalea City Chapter of the Links.
