The Faculty Affairs Department serves as a resource for faculty with respect to their professional careers at MSM. We seek to ensure fair and consistent treatment of faculty, assist departments in recruitment, orientation, faculty development, promotion and retention of faculty and scholars and oversee the processing of all faculty personnel matters and establish, integrate and implement policies and procedures.
The Faculty Development Program is committed to active learning in a nurturing environment while building confidence and competence in areas of academic medicine including teaching methods, educational theory, grant writing, primary care research, and others.
