    Transdisciplinary Center on Health Equity Policy Research and Practice seeks to inform policy decisions through innovative research and scientific evidence aimed at eliminating health disparities.

    Transdisciplinary Center on Health Equity Policy Research and Practice, under the Satcher Health Leadership Institute, is funded by the National Institute of Health’s National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities as part of the institute’s Transdisciplinary Collaborative Center for Health Disparities Research Initiative.  

    Through this pilot research program, the MSM Health Equity Policy Research Center aims to support innovative research studies focusing on addressing the unmet needs of people in communities that are disproportionately impacted by health disparities.  With the purpose of informing health policy and practice, Transdisciplinary Center on Health Equity Policy Research and Practice’s role in innovative health policy research will lead the creation of the next generation of health policy leaders.  


    Under this announcement, MSM Health Equity Policy Research Center is soliciting applications to support pilot projects that are aligned with Transdisciplinary Center on Health Equity Policy Research and Practice thematic focus of addressing the barriers to implementing health policies that target health inequity.
