The Center of Excellence on Health Disparities has developed partnerships, initiatives and programs to:

1. educate, motivate and mobilize the local community.
2. develop, expand and conduct multidisciplinary research that addresses the elimination of health disparities.
3. evaluate the implementation of selected strategies. The outcomes from these partnerships, initiatives and programs lead to the development of models that can be transported and replicated in underserved communities.
