The Community Based Cancer Research Unit was established in 2001 through funding support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Since 2001, community based cancer research has been implemented with communities focused on breast, cervical and prostate cancer.
The Evaluation Unit provides evaluation leadership in partnership with community based organizations to assess programs, conduct evaluation capacity building and provide evaluation technical assistance.
