Dr. Elvan (Ellie) Daniels is Associate Director for Community Oriented Primary Care at the National Center for Primary Care (NCPC), Morehouse School of Medicine. She is a former community health center medical director who remains an advocate for improving the health status of medically underserved persons. Dr Daniels has a lead role in quality improvement and health services research projects with federal funded community health center clinical networks, including the Southeast Regional Clinician's Network (SERCN), an initial AHRQ funded Practice Based Research Network (PBRN). She serves on the AHRQ Health Disparities Collaborative Oversight Committee, American Cancer Society's Colorectal Cancer Screening Advisory Group and the National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable. Her major interests are in the area of cancer screening, early detection & control, and improving health outcomes in vulnerable populations. |
