Curriculum Overview
A Practical Skill Workshop Series is offered during the summer before the first year. This series is designed to help trainees begin work on their mentored projects. Topics covered include: an introduction to clinical research, obtaining research support and grant funding mechanisms, proposal development, study designs, analysis of secondary data, cultural competency, career development, human subject advocacy and introduction to medical informatics.
