AAMC.org: AAMC Celebrates National Primary Care Week
AAMC (Association of American Medical Colleges) President and CEO Darrell G. Kirch, M.D., issued the following statement on National Primary Care Week (October 10-14, 2011):
“The AAMC is proud to be an official partner of National Primary Care Week. Medical schools across the country are participating in local events to recognize this year’s theme ‘Innovations in Primary Care,’ which builds upon the growing enthusiasm for primary care careers prompted by the increasing demand for doctors and a need for improvements in health care delivery."
