Senator Johnny Isakson Visits Morehouse School of Medicine

Senator Johnny Isakson (R-GA) visited the Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) on October 14, 2011 and met with President John E. Maupin, Jr., and Dean and Executive Vice President Valerie Montgomery Rice, M.D. to discuss the role of MSM and other HBCUs in the global health sphere.

Senator Isakson is the Ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations’ Subcommittee on Africa and discussed federal priorities in this region of the world, which is a geographic focus of MSM’s global health work.
