Ph.D. student Patrick Carriere is a 2015 recipient of the American Association for Cancer Research Minority Scholar in Cancer Research Award.
Ph.D. students Viola Lanier and Danielle Daley placed first and third for their oral
presentations at the 2015 Eastern-Atlantic Student Research Forum at the University
of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
Dr. James Reed was honored as one of Grady's 2015 Healthcare Heroes at the White Coat Grady Gala.
Drs. Donald Speaks and Ruby Thomas were featured in a FultonGovernmentTV YouTube video discussing the Atlanta Promise Neighborhood initiative.
Announcements
Donate for Donuts: Donate gently used professional clothing and receive a donut on March 10 at 8:30
a.m. and March 11 at 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in the Hugh Gloster lobby and NCPC Atrium.
All donations will go to the Sullivan Center.
Support the Atlanta Science Festival by placing supply items in donation boxes that are located outside the first and second year classrooms,
the library and the Graduate Education in Biomedical Sciences (GEBS) office.

by our office of extended professional education.
