MSM on a Mission
On Oct. 6th, the 2016 Reach One Each One (ROEO) High School Student Participants had a medical tour of the MSM campus. On the tour, students received information on
admissions requirements and advice from SNMA and Public Health students and MSM faculty,
including Dr. Janice Herbert-Carter and Dr. Rita Finley. ROEO Program Director Dr. Omar Danner especially thanks Lynn Pitts, Eboni Martez and the Cafe 720 staff for their help in coordinating and accommodating the students during the tour.
MSM’s PRC faculty and staff, along with community partners (Dr. Tabia Henry Akintobi, Nastassia Laster, Jennie Trotter, DeBran Jacobs, Tarita Johnson, Tandeca King Gordon and Assia Miller) published an article titled "The Health, Enlightenment, Awareness,
and Living (HEAL) Intervention: Outcomes of an HIV and Hepatitis B and C Risk Reduction
Intervention," which was recently accepted by the International Journal of Environmental
Research for Public Health. <<READ>>
