Partnership with MSM Plays Role in TAG Academy’s
Academic Improvement
Morehouse School of Medicine’s partnership with the Tuskegee Airmen Global (TAG) Academy is proving to have a positive effect on the students at the Southwest Atlanta elementary
school.
A recently released report from Atlanta Public Schools shows TAG Academy improved on the state of Georgia’s 2017 College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI) by five points from the 2016 results.
More than 110 members of MSM’s faculty and staff mentor students at the school, a partnership that’s now in its second year. In October, MSM was named an APS partner of the year for the second year in a row due to its work in the program.
