It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel S. Blumenthal, MD, MPH. Dr. Blumenthal served as the founding chair of the department community health and preventive medicine and was appointed professor emeritus upon his retirement. His service and friendship will be greatly missed by his Morehouse School of Medicine family.
A memorial service honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Blumenthal will be held at Morehouse School of Medicine on Sunday, September 22 at 1 p.m. The event will take place in the auditorium at the National Center for Primary Care, located at 720 Westview Dr. SW, Atlanta, GA 30310.
