Take the first step toward an extraordinary experience. Whether you are just browsing or ready to submit your application, we are here to help. We know applying to medical school can be overwhelming, so our goal at Morehouse School of Medicine is to help you through the medical school admissions process. Along the way, we'll do our best to answer your questions so you can make an informed decision. Everything you need to know about our process for selecting the next entering class is below.

The Committee on Admissions is responsible for the acceptance of all students entering the Morehouse School of Medicine. We seek applicants who demonstrate evidence of personal character and responsibility, compassion, honesty, motivation, and perseverance all of which, in the committee's opinion, indicate that the applicant shows promise of contributing to the advancement of the art, science, and practice of medicine after obtaining the M.D. degree. Morehouse School of Medicine encourages applications from, and gives full consideration to, all applicants for admission without regard to sex, race, handicap, color, creed, or national or ethnic origin. The school is committed to recruiting, enrolling, and educating substantial and socioeconomically deprived groups. The Committee selects those applicants who are more likely, in its opinion, to become the best students and physicians and fulfill the mission of the school. So, whether your journey brings you to MSM next fall or to another medical school, we wish you the best of luck.
