On Thursday, July 25, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms named Angelica Geter Fugerson, Ph.D. as the city’s first-ever Chief Health Officer.

Doctor Fugerson is a graduate of the Health Policy Leadership Fellowship at the Satcher Health Leadership Institute at Morehouse School of Medicine.
