MSM Assistant Professor Named Grady Hospital’s Interim Trauma Medical Director

Jonathan Nguyen, D.O. was named Grady Hospital’s interim trauma medical director. The announcement was made Tuesday, July 23.

Dr. Nguyen is an assistant professor at Morehouse School of Medicine’s Division of Trauma and Care. Over the last several years at Grady, Dr. Nguyen has served as associate trauma medical director, co-chair of the ACS Research Committee, chair of trauma Pre-Hospital Care, and chair of Trauma Resuscitation Committee. He completed his residency in surgery at the University of Medicine of New Jersey, and his fellowship in surgical critical care at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.
