Black Lives Matter Peaceful Protest June 19, 2020

MSM’s newest student organization, the Student Coalition for Social Equality, invites you to join them in a peaceful protest to continue to bring attention to the racial, social, economic, legal, health, and systemic injustices Black people inescapably face in the United States of America.

When: Friday June 19, 4:30 p.m.
Where: NCPC Plaza

If you plan to attend, please note the following requirements and requests:

  1. Bring your MSM ID to enter campus
  2. Wear a face mask
  3. COVID-19 screening is required for campus entry
  4. Practice physical distancing
  5. All clinicians including residents and fellows as well as MD and Physician Assistant Studies students and graduate students, are asked to bring your white coat or attire symbolic of your profession/practice
  6. Public Health students should wear your Community Health T-shirt or navy blazer
  7. Administrators, faculty, and staff are also welcome—dress appropriately

5:15 p.m.
Peaceful march to the Georgia Capitol (less than 1.5 miles)
6:30 p.m.
Return to campus, disperse
