MSM Holds 17th Women with Heart Luncheon to Support Student Scholarships and Cardiovascular Health
The event blended public health urgency with a message of opportunity and empowerment.
Heart disease is a leading cause of death for Black women and February is American Heart Month. On February 4, 2026, hundreds of women filled the Georgia Aquarium's Oceans Ballroom for the 17th Morehouse School of Medicine Women with Heart Luncheon.
Each year, the event raises funds to support MSM student scholarships while bringing together healthcare professionals, survivors, advocates and those touched by cardiovascular issues for a day that blended public health urgency with a message of opportunity and empowerment.
WSB-TV anchor Karyn Greer served as emcee and reported on the luncheon.
