MSM to Open at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11 Due to Inclement Weather
The AUC Inclement Weather Team is monitoring weather conditions. AUCC will delay opening until 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 due to the possibility of black ice developing on roads as temperatures drop below freezing overnight.
MSM will observe a delayed opening until 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Essential personnel should report for duty by 8:30 a.m. Please use every precaution in your travel to work and as you move about the campuses. For students, morning classes will not meet and afternoon classes will occur as scheduled. There will be no exams for M.D. students.
Morehouse Health Care clinics will open at 10:00 a.m. to support sessions with patients.
Notice to students on clinical rotation: If you are on a clinic rotation and the clinic is closed, you should follow the directions of the course director. If on a Grady or other hospital rotation and the hospital is open, you should remain or report for service.
As a precaution, we advise that you to continue to monitor local weather forecasts for updates. We will continue to monitor the situation and update you as necessary. Please be careful while driving.
