Not One More Life is an asthma education program dedicated to teaching others about asthma. NOML partners with communities of faith to provide programs of onsite education, screening by both symptom questionnaires and lung function testing, physician counseling, referral and outcome monitoring to minority and poor populations characterized by disparities in morbidity and mortality attributable to respiratory disease.

This train-the-trainer initiative uses the NHLBI manual, With Every Heart Beat is Life: A Community Health Workers Manual for African Americans is designed to: 1) Increase knowledge of heart healthy habits among community health workers who serve predominantly African American female populations; 2) Enhance the core competencies of community health workers who serve predominantly African American female populations; and 3) rapidly and reliably build community organizations’ capacity to address heart health using a traditional community health worker model.

Provides culturally competent case management services to women, children, adolescents and their families who are infected or affected by HIV/AIDS.
