Colorblindness in the Medical Workplace

An estimated 1 in 12 men and 1 in 200 women has a form of color vision deficiency commonly known as color blindness. Third-year Morehouse School of Medicine medical student Yaw Owusu is one of them. In 2017, MSM first shared the story of his challenges and the life changing gift given to him by his fellow classmates. Now, the American Cancer Society's journal Cancer Cytopathology talks to Owusu about his experiences being colorblind and in medical school.
