MSM Announces Partnership with Freedom Pharmacy Operations, LLC
Initiative seeks to pursue Class II medical cannabis license in Georgia
ATLANTA—January 26, 2021-- Morehouse School of Medicine announced today it is advancing an equity relationship with Freedom Pharmacy Operations to pursue a Class 2 production license for medical cannabis in Georgia. If granted a license from the GA Access to Medical Cannabis Commission, Freedom Pharmacy will launch a new medical cannabis business in Georgia with a focus on treating patients with non-euphoric medical cannabis remedies instead of synthetic drugs.
The founders of Freedom Pharmacy shares MSM’s vision of helping patients with natural remedies instead of synthetic drugs, Once a Class 2 license is granted, Freedom will produce non-euphoric medical cannabis oil. The products will help Georgians with end-stage cancer, seizure disorders such as epilepsy, severe multiple sclerosis, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other significant medical conditions allowed by the State of Georgia. This partnership will accelerate the company’s growth while helping countless families across the state.

MSM owns 25 percent of the Class A founder’s equity of Freedom Pharmacy and have a seat on the Freedom Pharmacy Board of Managers. Freedom Pharmacy will be applying for a Class 2 license allowing for a 50,000 square foot indoor cultivation and manufacturing facility that will be located in Clayton County. Freedom expects to hire 60 employees and have a significant opportunity to serve the patients of Georgia.
