Join the Cancer Health Equity Institute (CHEI) for technical assistance webinar for a recently released funding opportunity supporting the American Cancer Society (ACS) funded Diversity in Cancer Research Institutional Development Grant (DICRIDG) program. 

Prospective applicants for this funding opportunity are invited to meet with CHEI leaders for an orientation on the goals and objectives of the DICRIDG program, technical assistance on applications, and answers to attendee questions.

The Cancer Health Equity Institute has been awarded a grant through the ACS Diversity in Cancer Research (DICR) program.  Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) along with three HBCU medical schools including Charles Drew School, Howard University, and Meharry Medical College were selected by ACS for the new DICRIDG program.

The DICRIDG program is designed to help improve diversity, equity, and inclusion in cancer research.  This impactful program will create a more inclusive research environment to address health disparities more effectively and could lead to target recruitment efforts focused on bring people of color into clinical research protocol.  This award will establish a research community that is made up of a diverse group of people which is vital to ensuring scientific excellence.
