Dr. Carey Roth Bayer Co-leads LGBT Think Tank
Dr. Carey Roth Bayer co-led a think tank on LGBT, Gender Nonconforming, and DSD Health
in Medical Education with Drs. Jennifer Potter from Harvard, Dr. Kristen Eckstrand
from Vanderbilt, and Tiffani St.Cloud from the AAMC on April 16, 2015 at the Harvard
Medical School Library in Boston.
Leaders in LGBT health and medical education participated from Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth, Tufts, University of Massachusetts, and Boston University to find ways to make medical curricula more inclusive of LGBT patient health.
The think tank participants developed strategies and collaboration opportunities for training health care providers to be optimally prepared to address LGBT patient health.
