Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) Solution

Morehouse School of Medicine has implemented an Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) EMMsystem to help manage the mobile devices that are being used to synchronize data with the MSM email system. The name of the product is MaaS360 by Fiberlink, an IBM company.  Use of this application will enable MSM to comply with industry regulations and reduce the risks associated with lost or stolen devices by providing a means to erase MSM content from the device. MaaS360 also allows MSM to set basic security policies on participating devices to restrict unauthorized access.  Both Android and iOS (Apple) devices are supported.

Now that MaaS360 has been implemented, enrollment into this system is required in order to synchronize MSM mail, contacts and calendar information to a personal or MSM issued mobile device. Once enrolled, users will access their email, contact and calendar information through the MaasS360 app.

EMMEnrollment for Maas360 begins April 13th and will continue through April 24th. At the end of the enrollment period, the traditional method of accessing your MSM mail, contact and calendar information from your personal device will be disabled.
