Rotaract Club Comes to Morehouse School of Medicine

It is exciting news that MSM will be hosting a Rotaract club, starting the fall of 2012! The club is being sponsored by the Rotary Club of Atlanta West End, and the idea for establishing it at MSM was conceived during its immediate past president, Dr. Jalal Zuberi’s tenure.

“Rotaract will allow Morehouse School of Medicine’s students to be connected with thousands of ‘Rotaracters’ around the globe under one (Rotary International's) umbrella. It will expose our students to fresh ideas and resources for developing community service projects, both locally and beyond,”said Dr. Zuberi. “The organization is a great vehicle for leadership development for young professionals, in addition to inculcating the ideals of ‘service above self,’ the erstwhile and internationally recognized Rotary motto.”

Dr. Zuberi will serve as Morehouse School of Medicine’s Rotaract club liaison and faculty advisor. To find out more on the Rotaract Club click here.

Stay tuned for future announcements from MSM Rotaract club as they organize themselves in service of local and global community. We are sure that their expectations of support from the MSM family will be met enthusiastically and wholeheartedly in their erstwhile and upcoming endeavors!
