Employee Spotlight: Mrs. Constance Mack-Andrew
MSM’s Employee spotlight focuses on a member of our human resources department. Mrs.
Constance Mack-Andrews is currently a Commander of a TASS (The Army School System)
Unit in Montgomery, Alabama she has served in a variety of assignments of increasing
responsibility from the First Army G4 (Logistics Directorate) to BN Staff assignments
with the 75th Training Division in Birmingham, Alabama. In her current role, she
commands a unit of instructors tasked with training Soldiers in Military Occupational
Schools focused on Sustainment.
Selected for promotion to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) earlier this year,
MAJ Mack-Andrews expects to pin on the rank before the end of the fiscal year, (October).
MAJ Mack-Andrews has submitted an assignment packet to assume command of a Logistics
Battalion and the board announcements are expected in a few months.
She possesses more than 20 years of Human Resource Management Experience and over
20 years as an Officer in the United States Army Reserves. In the words of Mrs. Mack-Andrews,
she “is committed to public service and the spirit of service permeates her being.”
She is actively involved in her sorority, where she serves on the Southern Regional
Leadership of Delta Sigma Theta as a member of the Chapter and Member Development
Team. Prior to joining MSM, Mack-Andrews worked in human resources at Emory University,
Emory Healthcare, BellSouth Corp. and IBM.
Constance obtained her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University
of South Carolina and a master of public administration in human resources management
from Clark Atlanta. She lives by adage: ‘to Whom Much is Given, much is Required’
and she strives to live daily in hopes of returning that which has been given to her.
Constance is married to an Army Officer – MAJ Gary Andrews and they have two sons,
Garrett Connor and Garrison Boyd Andrews.
