Research Interests
Qinglin Yang, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the Cardiovascular Research Institute
at Morehouse School of Medicine. He is also a faculty member of the Department of
Microbiology, Biochemistry and Immunology. He earned his medical degrees, Bachelor
of Medicine (1984), Master of Medicine (1989), from Guang Zhou University of Traditional
Chinese Medicine in China. He came to the United States for his Ph.D. training in
biomedical sciences in the area of cardiac physiology. After finishing his Ph.D. training
from Dr. Bryan Slinker's lab at Washington State University in 1996, he moved to Dr.
Jeffrey Robbins' lab in the area of molecular cardiology as a postdoctoral fellow
at the Children's Hospital Medical Center of Cincinnati. Dr. Yang has been amember
of the Cardiovascular Research Institute since November 2000. |
